Shmuel, a Hasidic cantor in Upstate NY, distraught by the death of his wife, strug-gles to find solace, while secretly obsessing over how her body will decay, develop-ing clandestine partnership with Albert, a local biology professor, the two embark on a darkly comic and increasingly literal undertaking into the underworld.
